Account Information. When you create an account through Netlify Identity, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in through a third-party provider such as Google or GitHub, we receive your name and email from that provider.

Payment and Order Information. When you make a purchase, payment processing is handled by Shopify. We receive your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and order details. We do not directly store your full credit card number, which is processed and secured by Shopify's PCI-compliant infrastructure.

Photo Uploads and Custom Content. If you use our custom game builder, you may upload photographs, artwork, or other images. These files are stored securely using Netlify Blobs and are associated with your account and your custom game order.

Usage Data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with our site, including pages visited, time spent on pages, click patterns, referring URLs, browser type, device type, operating system, and IP address.

Cookie and Tracking Data. We use cookies and similar technologies including Meta Pixel and Shopify analytics to collect browsing data. See the Cookies and Tracking section below for details.

AI Chat Interactions. When you use our AI shopping assistant, we collect the messages you send and the responses generated. These interactions help us improve product recommendations and customer service.

Board Forge Co. does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). Our site and services are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verified parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate action.

Our custom game builder allows you to upload photographs, artwork, and other images to personalize your board game. By uploading content, you acknowledge the following:

• Uploaded files are stored securely using Netlify Blobs and are associated with your account
• We retain uploaded content for the duration necessary to fulfill your order and for a reasonable period afterward to handle potential reprints, returns, or customer service inquiries
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and upload any content you submit, including photographs of other people
• We will not use your uploaded content for marketing or promotional purposes without your explicit consent
• You may request deletion of your uploaded content at any time by contacting us, subject to any retention required for active or recent orders

If you subscribe to our newsletter or opt in to marketing communications, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name and product preferences. We use this information to send you:

• New product announcements and pre-order opportunities
• Exclusive promotions and discount codes
• Custom game builder tips and inspiration
• Company news and event updates

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every email or by contacting us directly. Unsubscribing from marketing emails will not affect transactional messages related to your orders or account.
